While Microsoft Dynamics GP offers many default security roles and tasks which can be assigned to your users, these roles may not accurately reflect the tasks the users in your organization need to do their jobs. Perhaps the Accounting Manager in your company is not trained on entering Bank Transactions and you need to remove access to this window from the role. How can you determine which security task (or tasks) grants access to that particular window? There is no easy way to find this information in Microsoft Dynamics GP — you would need to look at all of the security tasks assigned to the role to determine which task (or tasks) should be modified.
